File Lock is a security software to protect
files folders drives that can lock and/or hide your files, folders
and drives. It can prevent access to any of your files, folders
or drives.
File Lock also supports to hide files and folders, to
make them complete invisible. The locked items will be denied access,move
and deletion, the hidden items will not be found by any program
or the Windows Explorer.
File Lock supports all NT-base Windows system included Windows NT/2000/XP/2003,supports
FAT, FAT32 and NTFS file system.

to lock any item on your computer, click "Modify" to modify
any locked item, select the "Hide this item" option to

- Hidden files/folders:
File Lock can lock files, folders and drives, but this is not
enough, it also can hide files and folder as you want. the hidden
files/folders can not be access and people even can not find
them!

File Lock use the kernel mode protection which was called "Low
level driver", it will not be terminated.

button in the toolbar, then choose any file, folder or drive
to be locked or hidden.

the settings without the password. File Lock also password protects

- You can first download a free trial version from our web
site, and install it to your computer.
- After you installed it and launched it, please first set
a password to protect the File Lock, just choose "Options"
menu, then choose "Set Password..." menu item. to
specify a new password. Please note if you didn't set a password
to it, anyone can access the File Lock to change your settings
and uninstall the File Lock.
- To lock a file or folder, drive, just click the "Lock..."
button in the toolbar, then it will pop up a dialog box. In
the dialog box, click "File..." button to select a
file to be locked, click the "folder..." button to
select a folder to be locked, and click the "Drive..."
button to select a drive to be locked.
If you want to also hide the item, select the "Hide this
item" option in the dialog box.
Click OK to lock the selected item.
Note: File Lock can not hide a drive, it can only hide files
and folders. drives can only be locked.
- To unlock any item, just choose the item in the list box,
then click the "Unlock" button to unlock it. the unlocked
item will also be removed from the list box.
- You also can modify the states of the item by clicking the
"Modify" button, this way you can set the item to
be hidden or not. If you unchecked all the two options, then
the item will be unlocked(So you can access it) but will still
be listed in the main window.
- To uninstall File Lock, just use the "Add/Remove programs"
icon in the Control Panel, and it will ask for the correct password
if you have set a password to it.
- To register File Lock, first please click here to purchase
a license of File Lock, then choose the "Help" menu,
then choose "Enter License Code", then enter the license
code we sent you, click OK to register it. You then can enjoy
