Virtual CDs are just files on your hard disk - no possibility to
loose, no dust, no scratches or rifts, no need to search for necessary
CD title. CD-ROM Emulator can create up to 23 virtual CD-drives.
Due to original emulation technology virtual devices are treated
by every application and even operating system as usual physical
CD-drive. With so many virtual CD-drives you can simultaneously
work with several CD-based applications (e.g. encyclopedia, maps,
games, dictionaries, translators etc.) and even listen to favorite
music.
Creates compressed images from
your CD disks and stores them on any local or remote hard disk (network
drive).
Creates lightening fast virtual
CD-ROM drives in memory. 20 or more such virtual CD-ROM drives may
be dynamically added and removed without rebooting.
High speed hard disk access
to your CD images, several times faster than the fastest physical
CD-ROM drive available.
Works with DATA (ISO) and Audio
(MP3, WAV) as well as mixed mode CDs (data and audio).
Besides the dialog mode there
is a command line mode available. This gives system administrators
and experienced users the option to work with scripts.
Eliminates the CD change cycle
once and for all. More than 20 CD images can be inserted at the
same time. If a CD change is necessary it just requires a simple
and fast Drag & Drop operation.
Allows a virtual CD-ROM
server for a single PC as well as for a network at no additional
cost. All clients will have shared access to all CD images. No physical
CD-ROM drives necessary. |
