Memento LE is an easy to use video recording system for Yahoo!
web cam sessions. Once a web cam session has been established, it
can record all video sent by a remote user to a local AVI file for
later playback by your favorite media player. Memento LE can optionally
compress the recorded video data using any installed codec to reduce
the size of resulting file. The resulting AVI file can be manipulated
using a variety of editing and playback tools available for Windows
media. Unlike other web cam recording software, Memento LE can record
video chat session that are not visible on the screen. This means
that you can minimize a session and Memento LE will continue recording
the session.

The video captured by Memento LE is stored in AVI file format
and can use any video encoder installed on the system to compress
the video thus saving diskspace. The captured video can be played
back on any media player or edited using any media editor (such
as VirtualDub ). This means you can use existing, state of the
art, video compression technology (such as MPEG4) to record
and playback your web cam sessions.
