How to convert DivX VOB

Convert DivX to VOB, rip VOB files to DivX for exchanging favorite video files

DivX is a brand-name video codec (compression-decompression) technology based on the MPEG-4 standard that compresses video to small size with a high degree of quality. When you are trying to play video files in DivX codec, you must have this codec installed on your PC so that Windows Meida Player can play it. In addition, most files encoded with DivX nowadays have a .avi extension.

Step 1. Download Xilisoft DVD Ripper 2.0 and install it.

Step 2. Run Xilisoft DVD Ripper and click the button "vob" to select the VOB file which you would like to convert.

Step 3. In "input" group box, you can do some options as you like:

• Index - Select the desired program index (PGC). Most movies are stored in index 0.
• Audio - Select the Audio track to extract. Note: Only LPCM, MPEG Audio Layer 1/2, and AC3 are supported.
• Angle - Select the desired camera angle. Most movies are stored in angle 1.
• Subtitle - Select the desired subtitle from the dropdown list box.

Step 4. In output section fields, select the output format "AVI (DivX, YUV, ...)" from the dropdown list box. Click the "Browse" button to select the output folder. The encoder will output volumes as output_filename.mpg, output_filename_02.mpg, output_filename_03.mpg....

Step 5. Click "Setting -> Output Setting", select AVI (DivX, YUV, ...) settings, and select DivX codec. Of course, you can do other options as you like.

Step 6. After the above steps, click the button "Start Ripping" to start.

The following is one of the DivX to VOB Converters step by step guide, telling you how to convert DivX to VOB file with Super DVD Creator.

Step 1. Download Super DVD Creator, and install it.

Step 2. Run the Super DVD Creator. The software will give you 3 choices: a. video disc creator: direct make a DVD VCD or SVCD from source clips; b. Video Disc Burn: just burn the exist mpeg file to DVD SVCD or VCD disc; c. Mpeg file Converter: just convert source clips to DVD SVCD VCD Mpeg1 Mpeg2 format, will not burn to disc. At this step you can choose to output Mpeg file Converter.

Step 3. Select the output format "DVD disc" and then click "OK" button.

Step 4. Click the "Add video file clip" button to add the DivX files into Source-list. And do some options as your like: set the begin point, set the end point, save picture.
Note: Super DVD Creator supports Multi-Audio Channels. If you source clips contain more than one Audio Channels you can specify to some one.

Step 5. Click the button which is the first button from right on the bottom of the interface. Choose your Working folder, the output media will be saved to the Working folder before covert it to VOB file.

Step 6. When all the options are OK , press the Start button and waiting for end.
